2026-2027 Student to Student 

Student to Student is a proven, classroom-based experiential program that brings Jewish and non-Jewish high school students together to learn about Judaism through personal storytelling. Jewish high school student ambassadors, in grades 11-12, visit local high schools with few, if any, Jewish students to share their Jewish practices and experiences. 

For a small investment of time, you can make a lasting impact in how others view Jewish people. Being a Student to Student Ambassador empowers you to break down cultural barriers, connect with Jewish peers, and demonstrate true leadership. Share your Jewish experiences with other high school students, and influence how they think of Jews and Judaism. You will gain experiences that set you apart from others and demonstrate your ability to speak confidently about yourself.  You will be expected to participate in 1- 2.5hr orientation/training session and make up to 2 presentations per semester. 

As an Ambassador, you are not expected to be an expert in everything Jewish. No matter how observant you are, we want you to share your own story – how you were raised Jewish, what traditions or practices your family observed, and what matters most to you about being Jewish. We provide an outline for the presentations and training to help you develop your leadership and public speaking skills. Most presenters gain so much from this experience that they choose to participate in Student to Student for more than one year.
