Join us for an event in partnership with the Jewish Agency for Israel: The Urgent Need for Bomb Shelters in Senior Affordable Housing Facilities

Speakers:

Erez Shani, CEO of Amigour

Amigour operates 56 senior housing facilities for the needy elderly. Many of these buildings were constructed with communal shelters in the basement and it is not feasible for anyone, let alone seniors, to get to them in the 15-90 seconds required. Erez will discuss a life-saving project that is underway to construct vertical structures of safe rooms for each facility, directly accessible from each resident unit of the building.

Nadav Eylon, Regional Director to the Western Region, U.S., The Jewish Agency

Nadav will provide an update on the Jewish Agency's critical programs, including the Fund for Victims of Terror, which distributes immediate grants to victims and their families, and the Israel Fellows who are assisting students dealing with the hostile campus climate.
